In my opinion this is one the biggest problems. You can scroll through pages of picks, but how many of them have any solid rationale or shrewd insight that might compel one to get on board with said pick?

Goat Milk may be a polarizing figure around these parts but I value his pick threads for the simple reason that he usually submits well-thought out explanations to go with them. Whether I agree or disagree with his pick is irrelevant if he can present an angle that maybe hadn't crossed my mind and shed new light on the game.

Bozos like Lakerboy, Twizzler, Seaweed etc. will start an entire new thread with literally nothing but their pick (and maybe number of units) and a flood of meaningless banter amongst blathering idiots will ensue.

Then you have the "fade the public" crowd, the poster-child of which is The Money Shot, who bring nothing to the table other than some disposable slop akin to "85% is on Team A... Team B is a mortal lock. Square burial tonight!"

What this town needs is some dadgum, good old-fashioned, grassroots handicapping!

I used to have fun posting my crazy bets. Everybody thought I was stupid and crazy which was fine by me. It all worked out well for me in the end. Hopefully I have as much fun starting all over. Patience is the key.
