"I just looked at who they have beaten this month and they have beaten up on crappy teams. Baltimore, Texas, Minnesota. They lost to Philadelphia and Boston. The Yankees are nothing until they can win a series against a REAL team. Honestly Yankees fans, I wouldn't get that excited.

Posted by Casper last week, so after watching the Yanks go 18 games without an error, BREAKING the previous record held by the Red Sox, I then decided to go see how the Yanks have done in that 18 game span. They went 14-4, taking series from Cleveland and Texas, sweeping Minny and Baltimore.
Now lets look at what the Red Sox have done during this time:
10-8
There ONLY wins coming against TORONTO, SEATTLE, AND MINNESOTA! Even better, they LOST their series vs Seattle, Mets, Toronto and SPLIT with Minnesota...
