Have you ever done this?

You're making a parlay card and you throw a big favorite into your parlay without handicapping the game or even thinking it through AND THEN that very big favorite screws your parlay?

That's happened to me many many times and I've vowing to never do it again. I will thoroughly handicap every play in my parlays or I won't put them in my parlays, period.

A couple of years ago I tried a strategy by adding a heavy favorite in basketball to a play I liked to increase the payout. Would add a -8 or -9 favorite on the moneyline to a bet which would make the payout higher than the amount risked. After losing a couple of these because the huge favorite lost, I quit doing this.

Most always throw a big favorite into a parlay to fatten it up and of course it loses.

Most of us are just whales and or squares
