Up or down @ POKERSTARS?

Down.

I'm rubbish at poker, I can't even beat the $1+0.25 S'N'G. That said, I've played about 4 tournys and only got into poker recently. I barely have pre-flop strategy down, let alone flop/turn/river, pot odds, implied odds, player profiling etc.

My friend, however, plays $30-100 S'n'Gs at Full-Tilt [apparantly it has the best blind structure] and is in the money about 40%, makes a killing. He does play 2-3 tables at a time though.

Its all about multiple tables and i play limit most of the time, according to sharkscope i am up at most of the sites i play at, easiest rooms are bodog and the greeks rooms which use the cake skin which is also use by sportsbook to there are many bad players who mostly onle gamble on sports, weekends especially fri-sat night you will run in to many horrible drunk players..good luck though, just always play tight and only play very good cards and dont be afraid to chuck em if u are behind, never chase nless it like a str8 and a flush draw and you need to figure out how many outs per hand and the math will come to u pretty easy, good luck!

I just returned to POKERSTARS after a 2+ year layoff...........

Thus far been able to show a small profit.............sure hope it continues.

dont play online poker anymore

but used to clean up on late friday nights at bodog

lots of drunk easy players

Eh, I'm down at Pokerstars. I consider myself to be a pretty good player, and I play a lot better face-to-face with real people. I hate playing online because you're forced to play hands you shouldn't be playing and your whole strategy changes. For example, I can't make a raise with a hand like AQ suited because I'll get called by 2-3 players with hands like K4 suited, 67, or Jack-9. The more people that are in the hand, the less chances you have of winning...and if you do raise a hefty amount, someone pushes all-in with garbage and they suck out on you. I get so frustrated playing online.

I like to change tables after a few really good hands

as soon as the rush is over

it seems it never comes back

I can't win at stars so I don't play there. Currently play 3/6 at cake poker with good success and the $50-$100 double up SNG's there.

those are fun too...

the only thing about poker stars that sucks is that when people either play WAY too aggressively OR you make a great read on a player and push all in, only to have him catch miracle runner runner cards lol

sorry, but that happens alot on there... other than that, you can find some really good players there that play the game the right way. just gotta get into bigger tourneys, where people are a lil more solid in their play
