I'LL bank on the side of science. You can have faith that your wife doesn't cheat on you. If u take 1000 bibles, all are different, if u take 1million Qurans, all are exactly same, the Bible has been changed by man as the years passed to suit fit to society. Not 1 priest has the whole Bible memorized where miillions of "Imams" have the Quran memorized front to back. Just a lil info if it helps anyone. One more thing, i also dont get the concept of confession, how can that person forgive me, where god/allah may differ

As for the rest of your uncertainty, God knows our heart inside out. Do you really think anyone is really getting away with anything, really? Forgiveness is something different than forgetting. God never forgets anything.
