Are jockeys real people?

I just saw a show on I think, Animal Planet that goes through the lives of professional horse jockeys. These people are fvcking weird looking. What the hell would you categorize them?

They don't look like normal humans, since they are smaller and look like something out of The Lord of the Rings. They are barely too tall to be considered Midgets, plus they don't have the awesome sausage fingers.

What would you categorize these things?

I think Jockeys are the NEXT level of human evolution.

i mean time breeds complexity for lesser space... Basically more energy for less space...You see, unlike midgets, who often carry physical limitations, these things are normally proportioned "people", just on a smaller scale.

These are small people with the same complexity level as us making them one level higher than normal humans.
