Malkin scores that breakaway and they capitalize on one of those power plays, the result is a different one.

They showed that they can play with these guys and even though they lost, they have to feel confident that they can beat the Wings.

malkin wouldve never got the breakaway without tripping the defense. too many penalties not called last night.

pitt can win but only if det lets them. det was out of sync most of the night. not having datsyuk has really thrown their lines out of whack. but the det defense is the best and they are going to have to really fck up for pitt to win.
