The Ducks are a great team, and their physical play and edginess is what makes them so damn tough to play against in the playoffs.

But you act like Sidney is the only one doing this. This is the NHL playoffs. Find me a single series where there hasn't been some post-whistle pushing, shoving, slashing, face-washing, etc.

I'm not saying he doesn't have a little growing up to do, but he is only a 22 year old kid. He has a lot of passion for the game and wants to win. There are much, much worse out there, and everyone continues to pick on him just because they are jealous he isn't on their team.

Hell. so am I, I'd love to see him in a Kings uni. I'd love to hear everyone else in the league bitch while a kid who is nowhere close to his prime leads my team to a second straight Stanley Cup final.

I think you are confused Dave.....your response here is completely irrelevant towards this thread and my original post. I was talking about one incident that occurred after the game, when the Red Wings were in the process of celebrating that I did not agree with.

By "slash" do you mean, slightly tapping his stick on Maltby's shin pads. If this was Mike Richards, it would be ok because he is such a great "leader". If it was Ovechkin, it would be used as an example of "passion".

Point being is, why not be a man and get in the guys face and say see ya next game. use physcology on him...thats all...or just skate off the ice as a loser and come back next game....dont get me wrong cindy played well in the game, but malkin played better.
