so i went down to the track and did the simulcasting thing. i must say it appears -- to me at least -- that horse racing is for suckers. granted i didnt know what i was doing, i just figured that the horses that were 1/5 to win, would probably win...not the case. i bet a handful of EXTREMELY favored horses, and EVERYONE lost, a few didn't even show. are you kidding me? i didn't lose much because i was experimenting, but it just seems like horse racing is similar to the horrible odds people get with futures on a team winning a division, so on and so forth....anyone actually make $ off this?

#3Thi vig is big in racing. Often over 20%. 1/5 favs win more than 0% of the time. And yes there are longterm winners. Those few are, in my view, among the most skilled of all gamblers.bird bird da bird's da wordComment -
