Who is on the Tigers/Verlander tonight?
guy has been showing sick nasty filthy dirty stuff again....

line has dropped quite a bit, I'm wondering it maybe Baltimore and Wieters might not be the play?

prob will be on the under, even though Weiters might hit 3 hr's today

Had the under tabbed for a possible play today. Verlander has given up 2 ER or less in six straight starts. His stats vs. BAL are ridiculous - 3.0 with a 1.29 ERA in 4 starts.

tough to go against Verlander when he is hot though.... guy throws 99 and then a knee buckling curve

when he is on his game, he has top 25 stuff all time.... and no one can touch him

what I don't get.... if they are just random.... then why are random numbers for teams and players usually much different depending upon home and away status?

I know you can plug that stuff into computers too.... but I think it does show that there is more to people then random coin flipping....

there are many ways to skin a cat.... there are sharp people that can watch and see a batter is in a slump due to a break down in his trigger/timing mechanism, he's dropping his hands, his back elbow is too low...ect

or that a pitcher's release point is all over the place, you know he has a blister, and thus can't get a good slider ect....

Being a hobbiest and a love of the sports, and a former and current athlete in almost everything I bet... Its much more fun for me....

at what point in 2008 does your computer tell you that Cliff Lee is not going to end up with a random number Whip of 1.45?

Love Detroit here, Baltimore is a GARBAGE team. Verlander is in the top 3 of all pitchers in the AL right now

The random number generator known as Cliff Lee... Based on his history, I'd estimate he'll have a whip of 1.32 going forward. His performance thus far won't change my random number generator function for him.

the question was..... after 2007 what was his projection? and at any point in the season does the computer say...."hmmm maybe this guy is a little bit better then I thought" ?

                              wow verlander's awesome

I am not watching the games, just monitoring them on the net, but he had bases loaded no one out. SOOOOO different from when, say, Russ Ortiz has bases loaded no one out. When I see that, I'm always thinking "ok, add 2-7 runs in 3...2...1...."

But with Verlander, I'm like "eh, could be 2 Ks and a pop up now".

Wasn't particularly surprised to see bases loaded no one out with him, and then on next refresh, see "end of 5th" with the score the same as when he was in the jam.

scared the fuk out of me, was on total cruise control and then boom, almost lost it totally. Was an excellent win though.
