Converted some of my alts to BCH seeing if I can do some arbitrage. Binance is still pending, Bittrex gave me a transaction, but it's stuck at 3 confirmations and need 6 in GDAX.

Edit: Binance finally sent about 30 seconds after I posted and now at 4 confirmations for Bittrex. Now it's a waiting game to post.

Not banned, but his last post was 11/12. I believe he was part of the Segwit2X group; when the B2X fork didn't go down he disappeared. Don't know how the non-fork affected those guys monetarily, I'm sure they were pissed. Understandably.

I already tried it. When there was a 5k gap they said sells temporarily disabled. Price has now corrected to match other markets

Wow, I just went to Coinbase and I've got $8k in BCH. That was a nice gift.

But I bought $5k of LTC yesterday and just noticed they charged me $75 for that shit and I bought at $370/each. Talk about bad timing...

Did the same. Litecoin can really shoot up. Went to send Bitcoin from block chain wallet, "regular" fee was 23 bucks! Nobody's gonna deal with that for too much longer.

Update - All BCH books will enter cancel-only mode, and all existing orders will be cleared. While in cancel-only mode, no new orders will be accepted. We will post an update shortly.

Glad you didn't hve too much of your portfolio in it. Coinbase adding a crypto is like a lottery ticket for that coin short term. A million idiots ready to buy the cheapest thing available, that don't even know what a blockchain is. How fast that went up, i just knew a bunch of rich dudes just took advantage of a bunch of people. Just imagine being the people buying it before it went off at 9k 😳😳😳😳

thanks..I did lose a little but not too much. I think I'll just hold onto the BCH as i do think it's going to tick up going forward after being added to coinbase. It was a good lesson, I'm just going to continue to acquire and hold instead of trading and trying to arbitrage.

Yeah, I've dabbled in a couple day trades but I've pretty much followed your pattern, hold long term, as they're for the most part all going up. Long term, I don't see how it doesn't make you some money, so you'll be fine. I'll probably buy a couple within a few days when I see the real price. Good luck JP

could take over 24 hours, paid about $24 fee over 20 hours ago and no confirmation yet, too expensive and slow

Guys bought at 3k jumped to 8k. They started celebrating and boop back to 3k ahhahhaa

on flip side someone buys a 8k just committedd suicide as it dropped in a heartbeat

Mere fact of it being on coinbase i think for 2018 it'll be a successful coin. Short term I could easily see the price going further down or doing another quick spike up. However, I don't like holding it on coinbase or gdax, it scares me in huge spikes and dips they always freeze everything and disable sells, so unless holding long term I'd probably keep it elsewhere. I sent it from bittrex to coinbase within 20 mins

Well I liquidated my position in XRP (since that was my lightest position) to obtain BCH and looks like I got burned as I bought when it was in a heavy spike thinking I could arbitrage, but didn't pan out. Wondering now if I should buy back into XRP (since it did dip below what I sold at) but have fewer tokens or just hold onto BCH and hope it climbs........or only buy a little XRP and hold some BCH still.

Once Ripple goes over $1, I will be buying a ton of it. I've researched every crypt coin, and all of them skyrocket after going over $1. I think the $1 makes investors feel legit about it and that is the signal to invest heavy

On Coinbase, BitCoin cash is showing a price of $3116. There's no way it legit got over 9,000 on Gdax. Had to be a glitch. Doubt anyone was selling at that level, and nobody would be buying when it's way cheaper other places.

Don't have bch (thought I'd get it from holding btc during the October fork). Can someone who does who has moved it between exchanges tell us how transaction time is in comparison to btc and eth and ltc?

"Bitcoin Jesus" will be on fast money tomorrow, so probably see a spike like we did with ltc in short term but am reading a lot of non promising things regarding it so be careful.

Moved as fast as ltc for me today and I bought it on Kraken and sold on Binance during the crazy arb period earlier. Wasn't sure how long everything would take so def a risk, but I made it in time. If Krakens software wasn't so awful would have been much faster. Needed 2 confirmations.

From the time it hit the mempool it took 2-3 mins to get put in a block and a little over 15 minutes to get the 6 confirmations.

Lots of market manipulation by whales today. When the coins go up and down in unison, it's a whale. All alts moved together and it happened as Bitcoin Cash went up or down. They go in the opposite direction of Bitcoin Cash. Another one just happened.

Bitcoin Cash being on Coinbase was obviously the key for Bitcoin Cash. There is now a Bitcoin Cash debit card (non US). Another debit card will be out soon from bitcoin.com. Roger Ver has been relentless in promoting Bitcoin Cash while bashing Bitcoin.

Will Bitcoin Cash be number one in the near future?
