Strange but true fact: A friendly acquaintance of mine, a professional gambler for maybe 5 yrs who's a poker genius and solid at sports, is one of those people with the wrong instincts. Given his set of talents, I would've bet huge money against that being the case, although it IS easy to forget the level of panic during crashes.
"The sky is falling," becomes the mantra of every other poster at Reddit and Discord. That shit gets weird fast.Comment -

My two conclusions:
1. COMP has a lot of folks, including some heavy hitters, who believe in it, so I'm going to widen my due diligence. I'll report again when I know more. Props to you on a nice find.
2. I will almost certainly use COMP myself. Since Bitfinex tossed out Americans, I've had trouble finding liquid markets with decent rates of return to loan out BTC or other crypto I've got sitting in wallets earning nothing.
I tried Celsius, but there's so little volume that my BTC and USDT/Tether went from sitting in my wallets earning nothing to sitting in Celsius' wallets earning nothing.
But COMP's got a plan to offer much higher interest rates than Celsius or any similar service that I know of and it seems to have tons of people talking about it which (maybe? might?) translate into decent volume. Basically, it "feels" like COMP could work.Last edited by MeanPeopleSuck; 06-21-20, 11:48 AM.Comment -

#8096Defi going nuts right now. I was trading them for small profits but should've just held on to them. Probably not worth it to get in now...
But there are so many alts that are looking so promising right now.Comment -

#8097I actually didn't know anything about COMP, so out of curiosity I asked about it at Reddit.

#8100Does anyone know what’s the easiest and most anonymous way to buy ADA (Cardano)? TIAComment -

Easiest = use an exchange. Bittrex and Binance both for sure have it. (This would not be anonymous AT ALL because the exchange has your KYC/AML information that identifies you)
If you're trading BTC (or another Crypto) for ADA, your BTC is likely already traceable to you (unless you bought peer to peer or took extreme caution.
Last and best answer- if you're willing to overpay, you could get someone to buy cardano and transfer it to you. They'd probably charge you a fee to do so.Comment -

#8102You guys might want to check out coinzoom.com- been doing a lot off DD on them, looks solid. I wasnt that interested in their debit card but very interested in their own coin. Their the 1st usa based exchange that is licensed to trade their own coin thats not a stable coin. Been watching the volume since they started trading last friday its been heavy for a new exchange. Worth a look guysComment -

#8105I jumped on the crypto.com bandwagon a while back, CRO about to hit an ATH..currently at .156 was at .159 last year... meanwhile MCO pretty much stationary. Glad I'm holding a lot more CRO over MCO.Comment -

I really like the Crypto.com card. I load it with cash and treat it like a perpetual gift card. Works anywhere Veesa's are accepted, even online. Getting a 10% kick back on purchases (paid in MCO) at Walmart/Kroger/food stores is nice....Comment -

#8111I got a bunch of MCO but no CRO. CRO was just a nickel not too long ago. I need to get some. I got most of my crypto staked and earning at Crypto.com. I'm thinking there's going to be about another year of staking time before things might really start zooming up, that is, if history repeats itself. Now's the time to get some crypto if you haven't already. The next 18 months should be good times...

#8119Syndicate events are when you can get a piece of a featured crypto for half off its price and other special buys...depends on how many participants and how much you have staked to determine how much you actually can buy...they also hold a lot of promos that are open to everyone EXCEPT u.s.Comment -
