I'm starting to believe the Wall Street people did short the alts so they could buy it with their bonuses at a discount.

have to wait until next week for the next deposit to hit unless I want to sell something else to buy...comfortable with my original position.. guy who told me about it was also the person who introduced me to cardano so I made sure to take a sizable position back in December.

Are any of you guys taking out any profits from your portfolios or letting everything ride?

I've been letting everything ride for awhile but after this latest downswing, it made me rethink that strategy. I'm thinking of cashing out and pocketing some profits at certain landmark numbers(150k, 250k etc etc maybe take out 10% when each landmark is hit).

I'm still mulling this over but let me know what you guys are doing with your profits?

pretty sure I'm going to start doing that going forward..

It is very difficult balancing the greed of wanting to make as much as possible with being smart and socking away some nice profits...

When I take USD out, I keep 50%, leave 35% for taxes and stock my reserve fund with the last 15%.

I also take extensive notes daily, more like a diary. What did I look into today and what did I like about it and most importantly how are coins I looked at and didn't pull performing? Those that I 'missed out' on, I'll take another look at and use that reserve fund to buy during at correction.

These Coinbase Bank wires are ridiculous.

I started the transaction on Tuesday. The money was out of my account on Thursday morning and now have to wait till this coming Tuesday to get it into my Coinbase account. What's the hold up?? Do they have two elderly people working there doing transactions?

Used to deposit usd to gdax on Monday morning and it would hit the account that Friday. Last time I did a Monday night, I had to wait until the following Wednesday. Also haven't paid a fee for any buys so you gotta take the bad with the good

exactly...I kept thinking back to investing years ago (in my 40s now) and how I would get rattled and didn't have the stomach or business investing...i would get scared and sell. lessons learned over the years.

Use Itbit. Same day wires. Same day customer service too. Coinbase sucks.

best is withdrawing from a book with btc - its quick and free - love it just give them my binance address and good to go...of course you need to clear some bets first

CB really does suck. I use to send wires that would show up in a few hours. Now it can take 7 days for a fukking wire??? Might as well send from your checking account and wait. I sent a wire last month that the funds came out of my bank immediately but then CB sent it back to me 3 weeks later for some strange ass reason. They said the name didn't match but I've been using my same name, same account for 2+ years. Fukk them. They just sat on my money.

Are you certain u are doing the wire and not the bank account option? As in physically going to the bank and wiring? The last 2 times I've wired at the bank it was in my GDAX account that night

Coinbase is terrible. They manipulate in their favor over the sake of customers any chance they get. They cost me about 10k in my first few weeks with them and haven’t used them since except storage and arb.

They also offer free ACH withdrawals up to $3k and only $20 above that since it's a wire transfer above that amount. They're my backup to sell Bitcoin in case I have an issue with Coinbase. I'm now buying bitcoin through Square Cash, so any way to sever the head from CB helps (still the easiest way though if you want to get LTC or ETH).

P.S. I'm now down to 2.5 hours to withdraw from SC, so hopefully after a few more it's under an hour.
