This is a pretty serious contraction of the market, part of it is cyclical maybe but a big part is uncertainty of the Asia market. Say what you want that cryptos are decentralized and no gov't can shut it down (and you'd be correct) but govt's can make it illegal to do business in cryptos or ban exchanges across the board and if they do that (or even place severe restrictions on the market) in S. Korea/China/Japan, this is going to be a prolonged contraction. Asia drives this market. I don't expect a quick recovery on this one, maybe 6-12 months before we see a true recovery. I stand by what I said yesterday, 2018 is going to be a tough year for traders. Time to log out for a while and lets see where we're at in May
As the tech stands now, ETH/NEO have a big leg up going forward. If DAG/Hashgraph tech is ever realized, the game changes. Going forward, focus on eth based coins
20k is nothing. I have invested over $140,000. Most of it was 12-24 months ago but whoever said "nobody is investing 20k in cryptos"
I have long since recovered that money, it's resting nicely back under my mattress.
The only real reason to hold xrp right now is to be in it when they hit coinbase. I still think they're the fav for the first alt-coin to hit coinbase, possibly neo
