Yeah, most of my alt-stuff is down. My stake in Ether keeps me in the black. I'm seeing stuff that historically never had more than 3 or 4 bad days in a row have 5 and 6 bad days in a row. I wonder this is still part of the "great Korean sell-off" or just a depressed market? At any rate, I'm holding - I'm only 4 days into my no touch/no tweak experiment for a month. Ridin' it out.....

#5504Originally posted by The KrakenLTC is probably the most transacted coin currently on the market and that's why it has any value at all. It's cheap, fast and easy to send. With bch, lightning network and xrp, Im not sure how much potential ltc has. Im bearish on them in the long term, they might have some short term value as those other 3 really aren't mainstream, yetComment -

#5510Anyone else still holding on to TRX? I bought some at $.14 and $.17, and now it's at $0.9. Thinking of just selling all the shares and get some more NEO or ETH. Any thoughts?Comment -

OmiseGo - I looked at it a while back. Seems to be a steady riser although it did have a few months of stagnation....good long term it seems according to the chart.Comment -

#5513I think some of this stagnation is that Binance and Bittrex are still closed to new account registration, and Poloniex while accepting registrations, delays verification for up to several weeks.
I think people already with accounts have invested what they want to invest and all that capital is just getting moved around and gobbled up by fees at this pointComment -

I have suggested this article to a couple people who have asked what's going to happen in 2018. Easy to understand and a bit of a roadmap. I found it helped me.
From a tech perspective, Bitcoin seems to be just getting started: 2018 promises to be the year that a number of highly anticipated projects are either launched or adopted.

Competitors. But won't overtake the big boys. Maybe a competitor to BTC will pop up in the next year, but as of now, don't see any on the market.

If the lightning network layer actually gives us near free and instant transactions again, as they say it will, then it will be tough for another coin to muscle into that retail micro transaction market and should cement the position I think..Comment
