I was sat watching The Padres ruin Arizona last night and after Adrain Gonzalez smashed his 18th homer of the season and Peavy was dealing like the ace he is, I realised I was watching greatness.
People talk about Tiger, MJ, John Elway etc but that argument is futile in the presence of names like Scott Hairston (3.26), Kevin Kouzmanhoff (2.34), Brian Giles (1.90), and Chase Headley (2.37).
Whilst realising The Pads are number one, I decided to make the full top ten list. Please feel free to agree/disagree with numbers 2-9.
Regards
1) 2009 San Diego Padres
2) 1989 49ers
3) 1970 Brazil
4) 1978 Steelers
4) 2004 Red Sox
5) 1998 Broncos
6) 1975 Reds
7) 1984 Tigers
8) 1985 Bears
9) 1998 Yankees
10)1986 Mets
