Tonight at the Joe during TV time out in the 2nd, the Windsor Spitfires were honored, played a season recap on the big screen, the boys stood in the aisle all in a row in ascending order near the zamboni doors all the way down the stairs, crowd gave a standing o. Was nice.

Cool, very nice of Windsors NHL team to honour the junior champs like that.

Is the Joe still 50/50 US/Canadian fans?

      I haven't been to JLA since 1995.

Yea, I ran into a few fellas from Toronto supporting the Wings, 4 bumpkins behind me were from Brantford, ON and were sporting Hawks jersey's. Fukks were characters and knew pucks. Was nice for a change.

I mentioned to some of the Vancouver fans that Canada's team wasn't the Canucks (when they were the only Canadian team left) because there were so many Red Wing fans in southern Ontario. I have cousins in Windsor that are Wings fans.

I know there are alot of Wings fans in Windsor, so much so that they have to be reminded that Windsor really isn't a Detroit suburb, even though they refer to it as the "safe part" of Detroit.
