They look better and it's obvious they feel this is a must win. I think the second half should be a pick 'em so I'll take the +180 and hope Denver doesn't choke.

You forget that in 2004-2005 Kobe led the Lakers to a 34-48 record! They got beat in the first round every year after that until they got Gasol. How quickly people forget.

Kobe doesn't drive nearly enough. When he does he gets fouled for 2 free throws or a 3 point opportunity, or he kicks it to a wide open 3 point shooter cause they collapse on him.

They need to isolate Kobe more. Use the weapon.

I am a Hawks fan and the only play the Hawks run is Joe Johnson iso. I mean every play, every game. He is not nearly as good as Kobe. The Lakers could try this a bit more and really dominate I believe.

Carmelo Anthony doesn't look for his shot enough either. The Lakers interior defense is laughable. If they make it to the finals against the Magic, Howard will emerge as "the best player in the NBA" and Magic will walk away with the title. That is unless the Lakers snap out of this rediculous careless attitude they have.
