I would think this would be an easy answer but I will see how it goes.

Some people on this fourm have claimed that Lebron by far has a better team around him. Where are they now?

Before the Cavs were down 3-1 all I heard on this forum was how Kobe had nobody around him blah blah blah. Now all the sudden none of those same people have anything to say. People change up with the weather?

Think both have a decent supporting cast for their teams style of play. LeBron on the Lakers would be better than Kobe on the Cavs due to contrasting styles of play.

Aside from Gasol the supporting past for Kobe has been awful.
The Cavs supporting cast plays better against weaker teams IMO. They fall apart against better teams, which is what's happening right now.
Tough one.

Kobe Bryant has the better supporting cast.
Gasol, Odom, and Bynum are all solid big men to have around the paint while Derek Fisher, Sasha V, and Farmar are great shooters to have on the perimeter. Walton and Ariza are also great weapons coming off the bench.
They have not played to their potential lately, though.

Normally, the Lakers.
During the playoffs, not so much. The Cavs supporting cast has outplayed the Lakers supporting cast.
If the Lakers players would start playing the way they are capable of, it's the Lakers. Also, the Lakers are the best team in the NBA when they're playing up to their talent level. That's been a rarity during the playoffs.

oh then why are the Cavs down 3-1 when Lebron is averaging 45 points the last three games?

Because the Magic are a great matchup for the Cavs. Cleveland can't effectively defend them.
Look at the two teams and how they've played against each other in recent history.

Lebron has college players around him. Do you recall what happened to the Cavs last year when Lebron was out for a few games. The Cavs were lucky to score 60. Look it up. Lebron will NEVER win a title in CLE.

Look it up. Lebron has only been out one time in his career due to injury. It was the year they had Drew Gooden. The Cavs looked like a college team. The laughing stock of the league. 60 points a game for like 10 games.

If you were playing a pick up game in the park, You would probably pick Lebron and Kobe 1 and 2 but then take Gasol, Odum, Bynum, Ariza, Fisher then probably Mo or Z.
Gasol, Odum and Bynum are all All Stars... Cav's? No Show Mo? I doubt it. Anyone that thinks the Cav's are a talented team must also think Vanilla Ice can rap.

What he neglected to point out was that...
Cav's played... Detroit and Atlanta
Lakers played... Utah and Houston
Utah and Houston probably both would have beaten Cleveland. They definitely both would have thrashed Detoilet and Craplanta.
