Tonight the Magic got robbed. Tomorrow the Nuggets will. Actually the Nuggets got robbed today when Jones was suspended and Bynum got slapped on the wrist.

#2James still had to hit 2 FT's which was no given with the way he shoots.
If it was Kobe you'd have a better argument, since it's almost an automatic two with him at the charity stripe.Comment -

#5Pavy is stirring up Laker stuff tonight...you know hating on the Lakers.
Pavy...
Dahnte Jones DESERVED the suspension. He's a thug. Bynum's was just a hard foul and shouldn't have been called a flagrant let alone suspend him for it. Bynum probably doesn't know what a flagrant foul is.
If the Lakers win this series it will be with no help from the officials. As I recall Denver shot 51 free throws in game 4.Comment -

#8An accidental trip is not flagrant 1. Name one sport that an accidental trip is a flagrant foul. Football, Soccer, Baseball? Name just one ****ing sport where a ballerina like Kobe trips on a leg and it is a fukking flagrant foul? The NBA discipline committee is a travesty!Comment -

#10Losing Jones won't effect the Nuggets, if anything it might help them. The only thing Jones has done in this Lakers series is pickup 2-3 fouls in the first quarter on Kobe and sit the rest of the day. Linas Kleiza will be inserted as a starter, adding another deadly three pointer shooter to the starting lineup.Comment -

#11I went back and checked. Dante Jones was NOT suspended for Game 5. He is at the max for technicals though. One more and he'll sit. But he's playing tomorrow night.
Kobe will torch him.Comment -

#12From ESPN:
Denver Nuggets guard Dahntay Jones is on the brink of a one-game suspension after the NBA upgraded his Game 4 trip of Kobe Bryant to a flagrant foul.
The foul -- deemed a flagrant foul 1 by league officials -- is Jones' third flagrant of the postseason and his second in the past two games in the Western Conference finals. That gives Jones three flagrant-foul points in the playoffs, with players receiving an automatic one-game ban when they exceed three points.
The league confirmed Tuesday night that Jones' third-quarter trip -- which was not spotted by the officiating crew -- has been reclassified as a flagrant 1. It also confirmed that Andrew Bynum's fourth-quarter flagrant 1 against Denver's Chris Andersen has been downgraded to a personal foul.Comment -

#15pavy is biased and cannot see through his hatred for the Lakers. It's a parody at this point.
He was already ranting in another thread and decided he needed to start yet another thread about how the NBA is fixed.
As Bob said, if that trip was accidental, then Fisher's elbow in Round 2 was also accidental.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#21If it wasn't accidental then why didn't he tripped Kobe on first play of the game with a nice tackle to take both his feet and knees?
If this was a trial and this played in front of a jury how many jurors do you think they will call it an accident and how many deliberate? It was no different that when Anthony Johnson elbowed Williams in the eye on a drive. His face was at the wrong place at the wrong time. And Johnson got flagrant 2. How in the hell Jones accidental tripping was deliberate? You guys are nuts!Comment -

#22The Cavs are getting some big calls. Lebron James is jumping into players backpedaling on drives and going straight up on jumpers. With the Magic likely moving on and the refs facing the home crowd, do the refs give the edge back to Orlando or at least stop worrying about Lebron ripping em?Comment -
