Have always used a HEPA filter somewhere in the house and stayed away from ionizers because of reports that they are really not good for you.
However, I know that they make the air much cleaner(expecially the ones with a UV light) and thinking of getting one..............they can't be that bad for you when one considers how clean and breathable they make indoor air, plus tons of people swear by them.
My allergies have been terrible the last two weeks....sneezing, itchy nose, can't sleep, etc., etc.
