Maybe they should've traded for Butler.

their best player being 5 foot 7 ended them.

Should have made a move for jimmy butler or paul george earlier in the year.

They paid Al Horford $115 million to give them no revounding.

could have had boogie cousins and they didnt want him.

            just dumb

if they wanted to just keep their picks and build for the future, why even sign horford.

Horford was such a waste of money. He isn't even that good.

                    His game is limited

I think better 6th man player, he cannot defend either

Just a wild ball hog and it shows in playoffs

Bulls played a shitty game in game 1 and still won. That told you pretty much all you needed to know. Celtics are not built for playoff ball. They thought Al Horford was the player to put them over the hump

This may be good for them long term though. Starting to expect to see Paul George in a Celtics uniform next year.

Yup, I agree. Screw patience Ainge. Have to have someone on the roster who can out play and rebound Brooke F`n Lopez.

Just compare the starting five, Bulls might just sweep Boston. Bulls are locked in on D, Celts look lost on D. Not enough firepower to hang with Butler Wade & Rondo

Boston's style of play doesn't help them in a playoff situation. Run down the court in 3-5 seconds and hoist up a 3..no rebounding ...no 2nd attempts. . Horrible job by Stephens by not trying to get more shots at the rim int transition. Why not guard Lopez as he made 6 easy 15 foot shots with no defense at all. Lopez dominated the glass and Boston has no answer for him.. The match ups are horrible for Boston and unless they figure how to man up on defense and rebound with Chicago this will be over.

They aren't that good of a team, they were exposed in the last month of the season by Milwaukee & Cleveland @ home in meaningful games. All of those high draft picks for basically role players, Danny Ainge may have to go into rebuilding mode next year.

Definitely not Thomas' fault, doing what he can, he's a stud. They dont rebound, rest of guards small, a 3 that can score would be nice, all the bigs want to shoot 3's even Horford. Somebody has to rebound the ball. Have to get some easy buckets. And what Ironman said, their style last two games didnt seem to fair well, not many plays or sets maybe that was because they were behind all game who knows, but Bulls look like a well oiled machine to them. Thomas playing with heavy heart and still doing well, can tell rest of team lean on him, last two games theyve played like theyve had a loss in the family.

the losses have just about nothing to do with Thomas, he is
playing well, and his stats are in-line.

the reason they are down is that their regular season success
was inflated due to the nature of the NBA season.

Look at the Bulls roster, stacked with talented veterans,
Celtics are a low-level overperformer that struggles to match
                                  real talent when it counts.

just more evidence the NBA regular season is nothing but a long pre-season.

The Cavs game was the litmus test for the Celtics. They were outclassed in that one. They knew then that their ceiling was limited. Now anybody that plays them knows that they are limited too

Disappointing thing about the Celtics is they supposedly have some of the best perimeter defenders in the league (Crowder/ Bradley/ Smart) but they're getting torched. Bradley & Smart too small to guard Butler or even Wade. Crowder has had a rough series -looked forlorn in game 2.

The Wiz must feel real deflated after blowing 2 straight games. Let's see if they have the fortitude to bring it at home. This is a back breaker IMO. Thomas was insane tonight. I'm really proud how he's handled the adversity.
