Mod duty on a holiday Monday sure has made me thirsty. Shook me up a nice dirty dry 'tini to help quench my thirst. Got some in-laws coming over later for dinner, and was hiding the good bourbon from a bro-in-law who can make do with the cheap Jack Black when he gets here. Came across a bottle of Dripping Springs vodka I didn't know I had, so figured what the heck.

Made me a salad tonight to go along with some seared ahi. In a bowl I combined some finely chopped Spanish onions, radishes, red bell peppers, cucumbers, green apples, feta cheese, olives, grilled asparagus and grilled corn (sliced off the cob) and avacados. Tossed it with ground black peppah, salt, olive oil (great portugese stuff I got at Kensington market in my fave part of Toronto) and peanut oil. Was quite delish, pal. I will come 'round thar in a lil while fur some of that thar apple pie n ice cream, son. Leave the light on for me.
