Yes. Verlander continuing his nice stretch of starts; KC bats continue to run cold, in danger of being blanked for third time in last four games. Meche got lit up, plus some bad fielding didn't help him, for six hits and three walks in less than three full innings. Relieved by the Aruban Prince of Fat, Sidney Ponson, who fared no better.
