My losses strictly sports betting over the years. Only made a few dimes in poker during my brief stint in the popular explosion of the early 2000s

Sorry to read about your losses. My losses were very small in proportion to my income, im a man who believes in improving and learning from my mistakes, i had made some small deposits over 9 years and i recently stopped. Wishing you peace and better times going ahead.

Im cutting my losses and im going to let my profits ride. Every dollar is precious to me because im a frugal man that saves and invests most of his income for his only daughter.

This and most view it as entertainment.

I view it as side income. You gotta find what works for you. If you can't.pick winners, none of this other stuff matters though

Thanks Jack. Most of us have and will take losses every now and then. I have made a dent in my lifetime losses and now I generally just wager on sports for a little side income. I will continue to wager as long as I can profit long term. I stay away from sports where I am unsure I can win (i.e. baseball).

Write that 10k off as a price for a gambling education.

As far as joining SBR, not a bad idea when put in context. Free sports betting and poker and you might pocket a few gift cards along the way. Hope to see you at the tables.
