A thread teaser is one who purposely does not provide enough information in his thread title in order to induce posters to open said thread.

How many times have you opened a thread because you could not resist knowing what it was about, or because you thought it was going to be about something it wasn't? I am sick of it and will be personally boycotting posters who engage in such tom foolery.

If you are logged in you don't need to open the thread to see whats inside, you simply hold your cursor/mouse pointer over the title and it will display the first few lines of the message.
