#38Well Houston did have the best odds of signing Romo at +300, so you guys can basically cash your tickets in now if you bet that.Comment -

#48Texans got $10 million in cap space because of this move. Definitely worth giving up a 2nd rounder for him. Hell, we traded 2 2nd rounders to the Falcons for Matt Schaub. In the worst case scenario, we have the space to resign Hopkins and Clowney if they choose to.Comment -

#50“I will tell you something, and I think coach [Hue] Jackson would back me up on this, Brock has been a pleasant surprise,” quarterbacks coach David Lee told reporters on Thursday. “Say what you want, but the guy in the last two years has taken two different teams to the playoffs and there is no one else in that room that can say that. Plus, he’s got six years of experience, whereas others have no years of experience. [DeShone] Kizer is fresh. He has been here four months, like me, and the other two were rookies last year. He’s the senior citizen, that is for sure. He does a good job with these other guys. DeShone and he have built a good rapport and they communicate a lot.”

#52Brock Osweiler, though, performed better than Kizer on Saturday, and ESPN Cleveland’s Tony Grossi notes indications point to the trade acquisition being given elevated to starting status against the Saints. This would be a rather startling development considering Osweiler was acquired as a trade chip the Browns attempted to subsequently unload. Cody Kessler, Cleveland’s first-unit passer throughout the offseason, has struggled during camp, per Grossi.Comment -

#53Brock Osweiler's time as a Cleveland Brown is over, according to The Athletic's Zac Jackson and Bleacher Report's Matt Miller.
The Browns reportedly released Osweiler on Friday and will pay him the full $16 million he's due in 2017, barring a claim on waivers. Signed to a four-year, $72 million deal by the Houston Texans last March, Osweiler was traded to Cleveland on March 9 along with a second-round pick in a pure salary dump.Comment -
