We Canadians do not care for the term "ice hockey."

    It is simply "hockey."

What are the odds that the Coyotes will be back in Winnipeg as the Jets next season? How's the new arena downtown Winnipeg?Last time I was at Assiniboia Downs on the perimeter freeway I thought that new big building was the hockey arena?Do you think the Hollywood Gretzky family would be happy living on the prairie in the peg when it's 60 below windchill? I used to go to Winnipeg once a year at this time of year.In less than 2 weeks, you will need a passport to cross into Canada.Boo!!!No more going to that great strip joint on Archibald Avenue across from the defunct Armor meat plant. The only strip joint in the world with an all you can eat buffet. Some girlie magazine had a miss nude western Canada there once and about 50 chicks strutted their stuff and by chance I got there early enough to sit on the runway.Man,talk about the best beaver pelts Canada had to offer.I miss going up to that once more dominant and now more minor socialist country than the U.S.A.I'll have to get a passport to get a break from industrial strength socialism.Hell,it won't be long and americans will be buying ciggs and liquor in Canada.I was so needy for gambling money that I used to bring a carton of cigs and a quart of liquor allowed over the border to sell at the strip joint. Then I would buy $50 in Canadian change and plug the nickel poker machines in Minnesota with them. That was back when a Canadian dollar was worth 66 cents american. The banks in Canada gave you the exact change to the decimal point and american banks would never do that with Canadian money.

In Phoenix they like to remind everyone there is ice involved, get a 30% bump in attendance just for those hoping to cool off!

Here's a Canadian rule of thumb: if you say hockey and someone wonders if you mean roller hockey or field hockey or any other kind of non-hockey hockey, rip off their arm and beat them with it.
