He is banned from coaching due to his gambling addiction.

Guy would get chucked for drinking/hiring hookers in the locker room

He would probably get arrested for trying to fix the games he bets on.

I dont wanna see Barkley leave the TNT show. Did u guys see how boring it was when he was gone from that during his DUI whatever? + i think the team that did hire him, would be leading the league in flagrant fouls

Barkley couldn't motivate his own team when he was a player...he would be a horrible coach.

Why is it that coaches are expected to be motivational speakers? I can guarantee that most of the coaches in the league have absolutely nothing in common with today's players, but their ability to scheme, design plays, and outsmart the other teams coaching staff is far more important than delivering some made for TV type locker room speech.

Players will get up for games if they are on talented teams that can compete, period. The rest is up to the coaching staff.

He would spit on a little girl in the front row and get suspended anyways.

Scheming, designing plays and outsmarting the coaching staff is their job.....motivating is also part of their job. Even the best players need a pat on the rear once in a while.
