Guatemala is a pretty cool country to visit, and I spent my first 3 months in latin america there. But, I certainly am not recommending anyone to move there.

Yep safe is an absurd term, if you go into the projects (just wanting to slum it for a kick) get out of your car and start dancin around throwin money you might get robbed here, if you go to your office in CR without 4 assault rifle armed bodyguards you might be robbed as well, see both countries are dangerous

You gotta admit if the culture requires you to have mercenaries circling your business to keep you alive it's a lil less safe than your average office in US imo but what do I know
