    Logging into 5 Dimes
I know many like me have had problems logging into 5 Dimes directly and not using their mirrors, propbet or homewager. I tried this tonite and it seemed to work; just don't ask me why it worked.

I went to the 5 dimes site and got the screen full of red x's and tried to log in and got the next screen of red lettered messages about cookies etc. I went to the address bar which has the really useful

    h t t p://www.5dimes.com/CookiesNotAccepted.asp

took out the Cookies.....asp and hit return.

That gets me to the front web page without any red X's and I am then able to log in with no problems.

Like I said, don't ask me why that works for me.

      Thanks Daystrom.

I tried to do what you suggested. (I’ve never been able to log into 5 Dimes on Internet Explorer since they changed their software a few months ago.) It didn’t work for me, perhaps because when I get the “Session has expired or cookies are disabled!” message, I don’t show the w ww.5dimes.com/CookiesNotAccepted, but simply w ww.5dimes.com.

However, encouraged by your post I experimented with some other things, and I see I can now get into 5 Dimes with Internet Explorer if I use the w ww.propbet.com URL instead. So I changed the link in my Favorites to that, and hopefully it’ll work from here on.
