Really cool website, i have been to A LOT of these malls in my youth in Illinois

what got me thinking about this was a mall in Matteson, Lincoln Mall, is on death's doorstep.

check out Dixie Square mall in Harvey, IL, its where the Blues Brothers car chase scene was filmed, the mall was already dead at that point, and has stood empty ever since!

I grew up in Calumet City, IL so the Blues Brothers has always been one of my fave all time movies, even though not a single scene was filmed there, they always said they were from Calumet City..

I can't believe they have Peabody Place in Memphis on the list, that place seemed anything but dead
