Okay four days ago I found out my best friend has cancer and it caused me to realize some stuff about my life and get my life back on the straight edge. I am posting this thread to see if anyone has any knowledge that can help me get out of credit card debt faster. I am about 11k in credit card debt which is no reason to be real real depressed cuz I know I can get out of it in a year or two but I am asking if anyone knows anyway to eliminate some of it and get of it it faster. I am working and paying as much off as possible per month but it gets keeps going up with interest. I tried to get a loan to consolidate it but was not able to. Its crazy how things like this make you rethink your life and strive to do better now. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Best method in my opinion. Pay what you can over minimum and keep chipping away at your balance. Also, cut down on going out to eat, don't have premium cable channels, learn how to save money other ways.
