Man, Herman lies like a rug these days. I was texting with Herman last night because I care about him as a friend and wanted to find out why he's acting petulant lately.
He said that he was just looking for attention and that it was harmless. I replied that I had a hard time supporting it because it's in fact even worse than the attetion-whoring that we crucified Sammy for. Sammy at least was motivated by pure narcissism. Herman is actually harassing good people like Dave and TSop in his quest to stir up the forum.
I have no idea why Herman has been driven to do this, but I can only imagine that he's quite unhappy with his life. He's failed so miserably at gambling that he isn't even in the game anymore, believing he can't possibly win. I know a lot of us degens are unhappy people by trade, but I think most of us still hold on to the hope that someday the bookie will pay us and pay us big. Herman did what Nicky told him, still lost big, and now I think he's just bitter that the rest of us still have hope. Interestingly enough, he still touts Nicky as a gambling God even though his God has forsaken him. Must be an awfully lonely place where Herman is...
