Cardinals are playing without their best two outfielders in Ankiel and Ludwick and teams are going after Pujols who is not protected anymore. Karstens never faced Cardinals before which is a plus especially with the triple A outfield lineup of Cardinals. If the Pirates take the lead the bullpen is pretty strong and can hold up the cold Cardinal bats.
