Happy Trails. Its always better if its just for fun. Honest to god I get pissed off when I lose bets but the money I am betting isnt alot and its just a hobby for me, and its been moderately profitable for the most part. I really feel bad for the guys losing thousands of dollars.

If you ever come back, really just do it for fun, make 10 dollar bets and try to get a 100 dollar roll up to 500 or something. No need to stress so much and if your stressing that much its a good thing you are getting out or taking a break.

see here, now JJ is onto something-many bettors just love ACTION. Make a 5 dollar bet or make a 500 dollar bet, its all about the ACTION. For me its a hobby and always will be, maybe I am lucky.

Salcer, seriously, take a break, and when you come back, use money management and limit your bets to 5 bucks or even 3 bucks, whatever, and just look at it like a hobby, like model airplanes or stamp collecting.

I remember when my good friend Sick Gambler lost over $102,000 and a week later after he said he was never going to make a bet again made over 1000 $1 bets over over a 4 month period of time and he told me he loved it and still got the "feel" he was looking for.

Its not a bad idea because if you lose you wont be chasing like crazy but I defiantly need time off from gambeling..I just think about things I could spend the money on that I lose..maybe once football starts ill do some small 10-20 parlays every sunday

i remember that like it was yesterday. he played 1,000 games for 1$ a game.. he hit 53%, and ended up clearing 13$ clear after vig.. he was so happy.. it paid his pizza for that night...

it took him 3 months of work to put in 1,000 plays so he can get rewarded with a free pizza..

. In honesty.. pick a sport or two and learn it well. MLB is not easy if thats what you were primarily betting on (Unpredictable, bullpens blowing shit left and right ). Im tired of MLB and cant wait for college football...most of us are i bet. G/L with whatever you do

Thanks for the advice..and yeah baseball has defiantly been the sport that has killed me the past 2 years ..I thought I knew it all but apparently not ..football was the only sport I was seeing slight profit with..
