I'm always trying to educate myself on this stuff. I read that Litecoin processes blocks quicker than Bitcoin, like every 2.5 minutes.

Does the concept of LITEcoin also imply that it will handle smaller transactions quicker? One item discussed on crypto-currencies is how effectively small T/A can be processed w/ minimal fees.

yes, which is why I like it so much.. institutions view eth as a good long term product and ltc as a short term product. both valuable considering how quickly they process while not being nearly as volatile as BTC. holding everything from here on out, and buying more.

Coinbase has already started putting aside custody accounts for institutional investors (hedge funds, Goldman, JP Morgan) who are looking to hold over $10million in bitcoin and eth.

100 new hedge funds established this year that are going to be trading digital currency. If we were talking 5-10, you could argue that it's purely speculative at the moment, but with a cash cow like Novogratz getting involved with his own capital, would be naive to think the larger institutions aren't getting in within the next year

I really need to start paying attention to this thread. I made 2200 dollars worth of withdrawals from BETDSI and Bookmaker this summer through BTC. I couldn't stand the volatility of watching it so I just stopped watching. I made a transfer to Kraken with the profits and lost a couple of hundred dollars in the process, so I just forgot all about it. I have no idea what is going on other than the numbers you guys are posting. I guess I will just ride it out until you guys give the advice to move it out or hold on to it.

Everyone's holding and waiting for institutional money to come in. Really wouldn't see anything under 8600 plausible at this point. Don't count on it. 12k is imminent

i bought 90% att or some shit after my friend in the class before me told me it split...and 10% losers just to make it look good lol

wish i was more liquid right now, i kinda want to sell and go without my car for a month or 2 just to invest as much as possible

lol the mock stock contest was the best... they forced us to diversify so I remember buying 90% of my bankroll in google, and bought Harrahs and I think J&J with the rest.
