When there is a problem with SBR lines, should I start a thread?
When there is a problem with SBR lines, should I start a thread?
Like Pinny has been off all day today. Probably as many days as not, I notice something is off (and I don't even check that many books) but I just figure, I dunno, mehh. And I don't do anything.
Is it helpful to start a thread each time?

Emailing cs@<a href="http://www.sbrodds.com/"...rodds.com/</a> would be best, but forum is helpful too.

Smoke signals also work well. People actually still use SBR Odds?

I posted it in site suggestions earlier.
The feed must be broken because it's showing stale lines from last night.

To summarize our workflow to our clientele: SBR software engineers apply an exhausting examination/testing process to all software to ensure a high quality product. These ‘Quality Assurance’ procedures are followed in an orderly fashion, attempting to leave nothing behind.
QA is last applied by the System Operators within a testing environment, which is an exact replica of the live environment of http://www.sbrodds.com/, verifying all functionality of the new version. Only then is the new version is uploaded to the live environment (server) and verification is done again to make sure it was uploaded properly and is fully operational.
Last Tuesday (May 12th) a new version was uploaded but an unusual issue with Importer #1, which carries Pinnacle’s feed, was identified hours after the upload (11:30pm ET). At this point, in-house procedures were followed when issue like this are encountered, which caused us, between other steps, to stop/start web services.
This pushed the importer back online but to a point where it was not as stable as usual. Issue was retaken and properly fixed (this can get technically messy) as now seen. We thanks all for the patience on this matter and hope this will help to clarify issues on our end.

Do you have a recommended alternative RS?

The scoring updates are always screwed up! Wrong scores and innings! Very unreliable!

I'm sure everybody uses a lines service for different reasons. During the summer I'm mostly playing tennis, so I use OddsPortal.com to monitor all the lines and decide when and where to play a match. It's a Euro odds service, but since that's what I bet with it suits me perfectly. You might want to give it a shot, they have all the books that I play at save Matchy. For the North American Big Four, Sports Insights is the current gold standard.

When you find a problem with SBR Odds you can:
Start a live chat with a system operator (icon at the upper left hand corner of SBR Odds page).
PM SBR Help Desk personnel and even a moderator (they can escalate issue to tech office).
Start a thread in player’s talk that specifically details your issue.
Any of these options are completely valid.

The whole forum would be filled with threads within an hour.
Bring them on, we will try our best to please everyone, but try to be as specific as possible, this will help identify the issue and the cure. Remember ... if you don't tell us about a problem you've experienced we might not ever know it exists.

The play-by-Play feature is highly monitored by us, but is also make it the most fragile as it is process in ‘low scale’ and displayed in real time on the site. The information contained is sent by a very reliable source, but as any source is not error-free. To avoid this we are working in new feature for our Admin Console, giving us full control of all the websites content, in the case of sbrodds all events will be editable, hence information will be more reliable and more promptly displayed.

I've been waiting for Sbrlines to show tomorrow's NHL movements, and it just shows a blank space for them both on pinny's feed.
- When/If the lines do come up, will they include all of of today's missed movements? or will it just pick up from where it starts?
- It says theGreek opened it's NHL lines at 5:01pm. This seems a bit late for the Greek. Did it open earlier (around 10am as usual) and have the same problems as Pinnacle's feed, thus not showing up until later and missing line movements?

Okay thanks. Matchbook is the main point for me and I don't feel like paying so I will keep trying to work with SBR. (Unfortunately, Matchbook is also the book that seems to be out-to-lunch the most often.)
I think I will make more of an effort to post info of this nature. Looking at it the other way, it would be somewhat helpful to me if other people were posting alerts so, you know, golden rule and all that.

I've been told that Pinnacle, The Greek, SportBet, and Island Casino have all been performing DGS software upgrades, which should have completed today.
Nevertheless, there still appear to be some residual issues with their new feeds, which I'll have the tech guys try to get sorted out in their entirety today.
