    Best Tom Cruise Movie
In your guys opinion, what is his Best movie/Performance.

My personal Fave performance is "Born on the 4th of July", he'll never come close to topping that.

Favorite movie of his is a tie between "A few good men" and "the Firm"

                Eyes Wide Shut.

The 40 minutes of walking he does in the movie was Oscar worthy; he even managed to time his steps with the creepy piano movie playing in the background.

Here is a list I found online...

                    Taps 1981
                    Risky Business 1983
                    All The Right Moves 1983
                    Top Gun 1986
                    The Color Of Money 1986
                    Rain Man 1988
Born on the 4th of July 1989
                    A few good men 1992
                    The Firm 1993
                    Collelateral 2004

I thought Rain man and A Few Good Men were pretty good too.

Coctail is the best Tom Cruise movie. 4th of July may be the worst movie he ever did.

Really? What was good about 4th of July? The fact he was crippled on a wheelchair? The fact he was portraying an illegal war hero? Or the fact they lost the war?

his acting was off the charts, should have been best actor that year but lost to Daniel Day Lewis. The score of the movie is 2nd to none. True story...ETC ETC

same with Taps, Cruise, Penn and Hutton. I think Timothy Hutton was supposed to be the REAL next superstar, but he sort of faded away.

wow, after watching the clips from his career, i've figured out he hasn't made much of anything worth seeing since the Firm or Mission Impossible 1, starting with Jerry Mcguire, its all bad. Before that, with the exception of Cocktail, he couldn't miss.
