#3People I know use it to sell off stuff in a kind of glorified
garge sale kind of way. I heard somewhere the average
person can unload all the stuff around the house that they
no longer want for, on average, takings of around $1,400.Comment -

#4I made a killing back durning the Beanie Baby craze. Id get them for $4.50 a pop, and sell back on ebay. Anywhere from $25 to $50 each.
Now I just use my account to buy things at a good price, and to sell my smartphones after I upgrade. Ebay still has its use for me from time to time.Comment -

#6Have a friend who for 20% cut will sell other people's stuff on ebay (kind of like the "ebay store" concept that was in 40 Year Old Virgin). People like the service enough he just did a whole estate when a guy died. In the end he figures he makes $20 hour and he doesn't plan to continue doing it for long, but not bad for part time work.Comment -

#12use to do the same as begolf, I would warn people buying as a lot of times you are buying damaged goods-returns-specially the electronics, but you can definately make a living buying at auctions and reselling or atleast you could 2yrs ago auctions are probably full of ebayers now. If you have a business already ebay is a good place to meet other companies that may buy in large quantities.Comment -
