Fading Santana on the run line is 6-0 this year

Amazing! The guy's got a 0.91 ERA, he's started six games and all six have been one run games.

The under has also gone 6-0 when Santana pitches.

This has to even out, doesn't it? Time to start taking the Mets -1.5 when Santana pitches (and/or the over too)? I think I might try it tomorrow and see what happens. Anyone else pondering this amazing stat?

I think things ARE evening out... I remember looking earlier this year and in somthing like 18 out of 20 wins during a santana start last year were won by 2 or more..... guy was solid solid money on the run line last year.

Mets are a good hitting team but cant hit with runners in scoring position. But that will change, the runs will come. I would never bet against Santana unless I have the kid from SF pitching for me.

Mets will destroy Atlanta tonight, not only is the best pitcher in baseball on the hill but Mets have owned the Braves just like they own the Phils. Mets have taken Atlanta down 7 of the last 11, and 6 of the last 8 in N.Y. Lowe has been destroyed everytime he sees the Mets lineup and tonight will be no different.

It is true that the Mets haven't scored any runs for Santana but I got a feeling that could change tonight. It is just a matter of time. Mets make it 8 straight tonight.
