I worked my way up, from feb to tryouts in late march. got my first appearance in mid april and got 2 guys out, had 3 errors behind me, walked 3-4, hit a guy, gave up a few bombs, then they put me in right field. Two games later I messed my knee up behind the plate, AFTER fracturing my thumb catching a ball wrong.

I'll stick to 12 inch and 16 inch softball now
