Watch when the rockets win straight up or at least cover the 8-9 points today.

are you serious?? the reason their playing well is that they've been in this position before. They've already lost T Mac and Yao for long stretches in previous seasons. They know how to play without them. They won 20 something straight games without Yao (they had Tmac, but one could quesiton how well Tmac fits in with this team, and his inability to lead a team ouf of the first round.)

Ok, let's look at a few examples in the playoffs so far:

Fisher out -- didn't cost LA
Dwight Howard out -- didn't cost Orlando (had their best game in that 76ers series without him)
Paul Pierce playing only a couple minutes -- Boston had their best game without him
Rafer Alston out -- Didn't cost Orlando

SHORT TERM NONE OF THIS SHIT MEANS ANYTHING, they are all pros out there and can light up the scoreboard for a game or two.

By the way, that 20+ game win streak was totally different then a playoff series with the Lakers.

It's very early. Lots of game left, so let's not get ahead of ourselves. The NBA however, is about momentum and runs, in the short term. Not to mention, the Rockets pretty much have their backs against the wall, and there was a lot of drama in this series. Fisher and Kobe's cheap shit, Artest contstantly getting technical's and feeling like the refs are getting paid to back the Lake Show, and now Yao being out. With the WORLD on the Lakers today, you had to like your chances on Houston. They have more to prove on a Sunday afternoon at home. I took the shot myself...2 units on +335. If the Rockets get the win today, look for Los Angeles to take the next 2 to end the series.

I'll give you Pierce and maybe Alston...

Fisher being out was a blessing in disguise. he has been playing awful. You could say the same thing about Farmar, but he is the best PG on both teams when he's on. He is better defensively and can penetrate better. Dwight Howard was out against the 76ers.....i dont even think you need D Howard to beat freakin' Philadalphia...

lol yah T, 22 game win streaks fall off trees and take no effort..they have won without him, and last time i checked, their winning handily in Hou...LAL are a flawed team, and Hou can take them to 7

Lakers might as well put their end of the bench in, this group of players does not care.....
