Anyways here is my Uber ride from last night...
Placed an Uber call to pick me up from the casino because the parking is a disaster there. I get a response that he is on the way with a note "could be deaf or hard of hearing" My first reaction and second reaction and third is wtf....how is a deaf or hard of hearing person driving regardless, let alone for Uber? Well I cancelled him and requested a new driver. Got an immediate response and it was the same driver. Cancelled again and requested a new one, and it was the same one.
I needed to get home so i said phuck it...get this deaf guy here and ill drive his chit if i have to. 45 minutes later he shows up. (keep in mind i have never waited more than 12 minutes for an Uber before)
The dude was as Asian as it gets. Smelled like wet noodles (kickles check in...) and i realized why it said "could be deaf or hard of hearing" guy could hear just fine, he didn't know any phuckin English. So i loaded up Waze and got my ass home via that. I had to put the sound on loud because he definitely could not see the navigation if you know what I mean.
To end it all...Uber didn't charge me
The point of this story is...IF you ever Uber and you get the message "could be deaf or hard of hearing"
The guy is lucky to be driving period and you should get a free ride...
