Now I'm thinking that, for the upcoming winter Olympics in Vancouver, we should surprise everyone and add a bunch of rowing events at the last minute. Like don't even say anything; just quietly put it on the schedules the day before.

Suddenly there would be a bunch of rowing events getting ready to start and a bunch of Canadian boats in the water and everyone would be all like, "WTF??" And we'd be all like, "Well it's right there on the schedule, bitches. Deal with it."

I could never be a cop. I am too live and let live in real life.

It's the same reason I was a bad supervisor/manager back when I had real jobs. I would see people doing things totally wrong but instead of intervening, I would have deep philosophical thoughts like, No, I can't control other people. The only thing I can control is my reaction to them.

So they would continue doing things wrong and cost the company money and business and possibly hurt themselves. All the while, I would be disregarding them and striving for a pleasant zen state.

That's me.



As much as people like to bitch about the cops, most of them agree it's a good thing we have them. Furthermore I think they would agree it's a good thing they are not excessively zen.



This is not the first time someone has seen a potential cop in me though. Twice in my life, I have had roles as an extra in movies. Both times I played a cop. One time I got to kick in a door on a meth lab and go rough up a guy. One time I got slaughtered by a little ninja guy with spinning knives on his wrists. I kid you not.
