Noone bashed the Abramovitz brothers picks last night Nicky. I think people bash the Giroux brothers because when you post their picks you make a very long story to go with it. By the time they read the story they forget the plays.

The reason i say this is this.. When i posted the Giroux's plays and they went 0-3 1st day, the haters waited till the games were over, then the same 25 were hammering me.. then 2 days ago, they go 1-3, and once again, i wake up to see 23 new posts just hammering me. the same 25 were feasting on me.. Yesterday, the Giroux's clean up at 4-1.. i go to bed, i wake up, and that thread is nowhere to be seen.. How come LOL.. where are you guys that were hammering me? LOL..

Boys, now you know why i never post plays.. it's just not worth it..i don't know how why you boys do this for.. it's a no win situation.. People just love to see you lose and hate you when you win.. The proof was yesterday.

Boys, i said this story many times, and i will say it again. back in 02, i decided to post nba totals at a basketball forum at the rx.com..I swear to god, i think i went like 74-31.. the run of my life.. everyday i was winning, the same 3 posters were so mad and hammering me.. then one day, i went 0-7 followed by a 1-6.. You should have seen it.. 34 posters i had not even known came out of the woodwork to hammer me left and right and say how clueless i am and so forth.. meanwhile, i was still 75-44 and hitting over 63%.

That's why i am done posting picks.. People are not nice and are animals.. no one likes to see you win and everyone likes to cheer for you to lose. the proof was with the Giroux's.. how i wake up and thread is on page 2, and when they lost, there were 28 new posts all hammering me.. LOL. I'm sure the haters saw the picks last night, saw 4-1 and said, oh shit.. he won.. fukkin shit..

Brock Landers, it's quiet now because you are winning, but just wait and see.. you will start to lose, i promise.. and when you do, look out..

Thats the way it goes. I've been posting picks for many years. You gotta have thick skin. I can take more punishment than anybody can dish out.

hey richie, i am sure you agree with me.. you should know what i'm talking about.. when you were posting your mortal locks everyday and losing, i'm sure you noticed people mocking you and hammering you.. and when you were going good, i am sure you noticed the board got quiet and not many congratulated you.. but when you'd lose, you'd hear, fade material, big loser, etc...

not one comment when they went 4-1, but when they lost, 32 new posts in the morning to read about how clueless i and the giroux's are..

i have posted my last plays for this forum. i tried to help you guys with some solid info from solid people and all i see are haters everywhere.. it's you guys loss, not mine..

Richie...I think SBR John has finally put an end to multiple ghosts by posters. So SBR being a ghost town means there are less ghosts which actually is an oxymoron.

Nicky here is an extreme example:

Fighting Illini lives in Santa Barbara and as you know the City is on fire. I want him to video tape his house burning down an put on SBR. Nicky I know 45 guys that want his house to burn down because then it would be a story.

Nicky I know at least 70 guys that are going to hammer Brock if he goes bad but Nicky I do not think this kid will ever go bad. He knows it too. Nicky I think Brock can handle it.

Maybe there was some exaggeration there but Nicky does have a point. It's the same in real life to a lesser degree as people pop off at the mouth less, but particularly on forums posters enjoy slamming you when you have a rough day but will be MIA when you do well.

People slam Nicky for reasons far beyond the losing picks. I don't want to see anyone lose but its a different story when they feign being sharp and duplicitously profess to be mathematically enriched. With my friends in Vegas, I always hope they cash their tickets. But the forum world is full of ignorance. Instead of people attempting to ameliorate their handicapping abilities, they continually make the same mistakes and then when they may run hot for a while, proclaim their sharpness. I have no sympathy for them when they lose. It's simply a matter of time when they do. Some people invite the bashing through their own ignorance and arrogance.

Not sure if you saw this howler from Nicky yesterday:

here is a small chart i made just to set an example of why to never bet same on every game.. i made this chart as easy as possible to understand.

lets say you have 3 bets of 100 each

bet 1, you have 1% adv.. $100 bet = 1$ proft
bet 2, you have 3% adv.. $100 bet = 3$ profit
bet 3, you have 5% adv.. $100 bet = 5$ profit

Total profit = 9$

______

Now you raise your bets on bigger adv

bet 1, you have 1% adv.. $100 bet =1$ profit
bet 2, you have 3% adv.. $300$ bet = 9$ profit
bet 3, you have 5% adv... 500$ bet =25$

Total profit = 35$

look how you make 4x more by raising bets on bigger edge you get.
