This is the scariest thing I have ever been involved in. My house has not burned down but my Father's home burned down last night. Over 40,000 people have been evacuated ( I'm one of them ) they had a press conference and the Fire Chief said he has never seen anything like this in his 40 years. He said all Hell broke loose last night. The streets are chaos and people panicking, everyone walking around with face masks. I am on the Mesa right now close to the beach. When this is all over it is going to be ugly. They said they expect it to be worse tonight. 80 mile an hour winds up where the fire is. This is a very sad area right now. Also, in Ventura which is about 30 miles away a 4.2 Earthquake just hit.

I believe many displaced Santa Barbarans would choose Newark as the logical choice for relocation.

It would probably wouldn't be on anyones list. I would think that people living in Newark probably have to, I don't think it is a desired place to live in the Country. People want to live here, you know that Goldbloom.

this is why i eventually moved from california, fires, earthquakes,one catastrophe after another,not to mention the beauty of illegal immigration and gangs and crime .I hope your shelter isnt full of illegals who cant speak a word of english I had to experience that once.

Cali is a beautiful place but there are safer places to be.santa barbara will rebuild though ,great place to be ,its the winds that are the nightmare
