All politicians and all humans have 'brain farts'; the only difference is most politicians would dishonestly try to pretend they knew what they were talking about and say nothing. Johnson has the honesty to admit his shortcomings...and 'takes a few moments to remember the name of a foreign city not vital to American interests' is a pretty small shortcoming stacked up against the candidate who can't remember C is for classified, or the one who can't remember or realize when he says things that are blatantly false.

Johnson ain't perfect, but if a tiny flub like that is what causes you not to vote for him, it seems likely you don't actually believe in what he stands for (as he's still light-years ahead of any other candidate in sane foreign and domestic policy). There's a reason he's the favorite with active duty members and has disproportionate support among vets like you and I: we realize that the others will keep sending American soldiers to be maimed or killed for their special interests, instead of to defend the country as we signed up for, while simply creating more terrorists and necessitating more soldiers' sacrifices.
