it would certainly be nice if he was a better public speaker, it would be easier to thrive in the media and online. As it stands, his relative weakness as a public speaker has most people thinking that it's somehow a disqualifier on level with being unable to acknowledge reality (trump), being unwilling to tell the truth (clinton), or having no plan to get us out of the messes we're in (trump and clinton). Agreed. I still think he'd be the best President of the three. But he had a golden opportunity and squandered it. Not just with Aleppo. But just didn't get himself into the conversation early enough. This year was ripe for a 3rd party challenge, but nobody stepped up.

Just flipped over to CNN on commercial from the games. After all the talk of "if Trump would ever just say he owns and apologizes for comments it would go away" so he did exactly that and it continues ....the guy can't win with the Clinton backing media machine

Explanation is easy: people can spot the incompetence and disregard, but willingly suspend disbelief every time and elect someone new who's just as bad...kinda like you and others are doing with Trump and Clinton.
