As it stands, his relative weakness as a public speaker has most people thinking that it's somehow a disqualifier on level with being unable to acknowledge reality (trump), being unwilling to tell the truth (clinton), or having no plan to get us out of the messes we're in (trump and clinton). It's unfortunate, but this thread is a good microcosm of the electorate: people doing mental gymnastics to rationalize their choices of candidates as anything other than voting for what everyone else is voting for

Agreed. I still think he'd be the best President of the three. But he had a golden opportunity and squandered it. Not just with Aleppo. But just didn't get himself into the conversation early enough. This year was ripe for a 3rd party challenge, but nobody stepped up.
